A highly regarded, long-established independent agency operating across the Southwest is looking for someone quite specific. Not a volume candidate. Not someone who ticks most of the boxes. Someone who reads this and genuinely thinks “that’s exactly what I do well.”
This is a newly created, senior-level role working directly alongside the Head of Lettings — supporting the day-to-day operation, mentoring teams across multiple offices, contributing to training and marketing, and keeping a busy, well-regarded department running to a very high standard. It’s varied, it’s meaningful, and it genuinely suits someone who thrives on being the person that holds things together.

The Role
A Senior Lettings Specialist is required to work closely with the Head of Lettings across a multi-office residential department, providing operational support, sharing expertise across teams, and helping drive standards, compliance and marketing across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Working directly alongside the Head of Lettings on day-to-day lettings activity across the department
- Supporting and mentoring lettings teams across multiple offices
- Contributing to training, development and the raising of standards across the business
- Assisting with lettings marketing initiatives and client communications
- Providing operational and administrative coordination across the wider department
- Growing into a genuinely senior position with real long-term opportunity
What They’re Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years’ residential lettings experience — this is essential, not a preference
- MARLA qualified or actively working towards it — genuinely valued here
- An exceptional eye for detail and a naturally high personal standard
- Confident communicator — comfortable with landlords, tenants, colleagues and contractors alike
- Competent across MS Office and happy to adapt to new systems quickly
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle — you’ll be covering a few locations
- Commutable to the Devon/Somerset border — this is where the role is based — or prepared to relocate
- Tiverton | Wellington | Honiton would be ideal locations to be based
